Lewis and Clark

The explorers i think are the most important to Washington are Lewis and Clark. I think they are important because they were the first explorers of Washington after we bought the Louisiana Territory. They mapped and discovered most of Washington and communicated with the natives. Lewis and Clark helped create present day Washington.

Coastal or Plateau

The Native American tribe type i would want to be with is Coastal. The reason I picked coastal is because, you will always have food access. You can travel anywhere easily. You have a water supply. And you never had to travel far to get something.

Native American Migration

The three most plausible ways i think Native Americans could of migrated to Washington
  1. Land Bridge
  2. Ice Bridge
  3. Continental Shelf

The most plausible way I think the Native Americans came her from Southeast Asia by the ice bridge because during the last ice age the bering strait could of froze across allowing them to cross easily.

WA Geologic Process

images via wikipedia
The geologic that i think was the most important is the shifting of plates which formed the Cascades. The Cascade Mountain Range is one of the most important geological features in Washington because it forms a wet western and dry eastern side. This is very important because it influences our weather. In conclusion the most important geological process in Washington was the shifting of plates which formed the Cascades.
